Indy Christian Geeks Meetup Today
Got together with the other Indy Christian Geeks today. We talked a bunch about BarCamp Indy 2008. It seems like a lot of brain energy is going into questions like:
1. What is it?
2. How do we maximize time/resources.
Very few people seem to be comfortable with the paradigm of it will be whatever the participants make it. For me it was an interesting illustration of watching people trying to inject definition and control into something that is supposed to be abstract and amorphous.
My excitement level is still high. Although it would be nice to see some people jump in and voluntarily fill some needs without looking to me.
But overall I'm fine. It will be whatever it becomes.
